Profile and privacy: what others can see

A short explanation of how your profile appears to other users and how visibility works.

RideCall is a social app for motorcycle riders, so your profile helps others understand who you are, what level you ride at, and which rides you are active in.

What information may be visible

Depending on your settings and the context in the app, other users may see:

  • name and profile photo;
  • city, country, and riding level;
  • organized or shared rides;
  • public posts in the feed;
  • some of your stats and badges;
  • presence on leaderboards if you have recorded kilometers.

Public and limited profiles

If your profile is public, other users can more easily see content related to you. If it is limited, visibility may be reduced mainly to approved connections and participants in shared rides.

Regardless of settings, RideCall is not a substitute for your own judgment. Do not publish information you do not want other people to see.

Tracking and live location

Tracking history is used for routes, replay, stats, badges, and challenges. Live location is intended for active rides and helps participants stay oriented while riding.

After tracking ends, RideCall stops active live-location sharing and saves the completed route as part of your history.

Good practices

  • Use realistic profile information so other riders can recognize you.
  • Review your notification and visibility settings.
  • Share only content that is safe and appropriate for the community.
  • Do not post sensitive personal data in bios, chats, or posts.
