How to create and manage a ride

What an organized RideCall ride includes: route, participants, level, type, and chat.

An organized ride in RideCall helps make everything clear before the start: route, participants, ride type, difficulty level, and group communication.

What a ride includes

When creating a ride you can add information that helps participants decide whether the ride is right for them:

  • start point;
  • end point or route;
  • intermediate stops;
  • date and time;
  • riding level;
  • ride type, for example city, cruise, sport, or off-road;
  • maximum number of participants;
  • description and extra instructions.

Route and waypoints

RideCall is built around motorcycle routes. When planning, you can use waypoints to make the route more interesting and better suited for group riding.

When the route is clear in advance, participants know what to expect: distance, direction, pace, and stops.

Participants

A ride can have a participant limit. That helps the organizer control group size. The rides list shows how many spots are taken, for example 1/5.

If you are the organizer, the ride counts toward your organizer activity. If someone else is the organizer and you join, it counts as participation.

Ride chat

Every organized ride can have a chat that makes communication easier before, during, and after the ride. Participants can confirm times, stops, route changes, or other important details there.

After the ride

If you use tracking during the ride, the route can be saved in your history. That supports replay, stats, badges, challenges, and reviewing the path you rode.
