How badges work in RideCall
Learn when badges unlock, which rides count, and why results may update with a short delay.
Badges in RideCall mark your progress as a rider: organized rides, participation, recorded kilometers, and different routes. They unlock automatically when your profile statistics meet a given condition.
What counts toward badges
For tracking-related badges, only completed and saved tracks with a real route over 1 km count. Very short test recordings, rides around or under 1 km, and unfinished tracks are not included in the calculations.
After you finish a ride, RideCall first saves it locally, then syncs statistics in the background. That is why a badge may not appear immediately, but after a short refresh or the next time you open the app.
Organizer badges
These badges unlock when you organize rides and complete them with successfully recorded tracking.
- **Organizer — 1 tracked ride**: unlocks after 1 organized ride with completed tracking.
- **Organizer — 5 tracked rides**: unlocks after 5 organized rides with completed tracking.
- **Organizer — 10+ tracked rides**: unlocks after 10 or more organized rides with completed tracking.
Important: solo tracking does not count toward these badges, because it is not linked to an organized RideCall ride.
Participant badges
These badges unlock when you join rides organized by other users and complete your own tracking.
- **Participant — 5 tracked rides**: unlocks after 5 participations with saved tracking.
- **Participant — 10 tracked rides**: unlocks after 10 participations with saved tracking.
- **Participant — 20 tracked rides**: unlocks after 20 participations with saved tracking.
If you are the organizer of the ride, it counts toward organizer badges, not participant badges.
1,000 km badge
**1,000 km club** unlocks when your total recorded kilometers reach 1,000 km. Only valid completed tracks over 1 km are included in this total.
Solo tracking can also contribute to this badge, as long as it is successfully saved and synced.
10 rides badge
**10 rides** unlocks when you have a total of 10 rides as organizer or participant.
This badge does not require every ride to have completed tracking. It reflects overall activity in RideCall rides: rides you created plus rides you joined.
5 different routes badge
**5 different routes** unlocks when you have completed tracking on 5 different routes or rides. If you record several tracks for the same ride, they should not increase the distinct-route count more than once.
Solo tracking entries usually count as separate routes, because each solo track is a new record.
Why a badge may not appear right away
There are several normal reasons:
- the ride is under 1 km and does not count toward tracking stats;
- the app is still syncing the recording in the background;
- the phone was offline and the update will retry on the next connection;
- it is solo tracking, which does not count toward organizer or participant badges;
- the profile has not refreshed yet after the latest update.
How to check your progress
In your profile and the Badges & Challenges section, watch:
- total recorded kilometers;
- organized rides with completed tracking;
- participations with completed tracking;
- total number of rides;
- different recorded routes.
When any condition is met, RideCall automatically unlocks the matching badge.
